Patrick Schleuter

Violinist and violist Patrick Schleuter was born in 1976 in Munich where he studied  with T. Egel-Goldschmidt, Gunars Larsens and Miguel Negri and attended masterclasses with teachers such as Igor Oistrakh, Zakhar Bron, Edward Wulfson, Ruggiero Ricci, Tomasz Tomaszewski, Ljerko Spiller and Valery Gradow.  In 2009 he became a member of the Ensemble Vortex (Geneva) and also plays with  Ensemble Matka (Geneva) and the Nouvel Ensemble Contemporain (La-Chaux-de-Fonds). Amongst others, he plays regularly with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.  Since 2012 he is principal second violin and guest violin soloist with Ensemble Symphony Neuchatel.  In 2008 Patrick established the Camerata Mundi, an international assembly strings who has presented in Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland.Since 2011 Patrick holds the role of professor of violin at the Conservatoire Populaire de Genève.
